A Pair of Bucks Players Head for Home During NBA Lockout

By Jackson B. Bucks Fan | Posted Tuesday, October 25

Carlos Delfino is taking a break from the negotiations to visit his family in Argentina. According to his agent Andy Miller, Delfino’s fate as a Milwaukee Buck is still unclear. Miller told reporters that his client has had many offers from various teams, but would be most happy to return to Milwaukee to play. With time to spare, Delfino played basketball in September's FIBA Americas Tournament. Argentina’s basketball team acquired an Olympic berth for the 2012 games. Because of the “extended” season that he played, Delfino does not feel pressure to sign with a foreign team, just to stay in shape. For now he is content on doing charitable work in Argentina and spending time with his family.

Ersan Ilyasova Plays for Anadolu Efes

Power forward Ersan Ilyasova, signed with Turkey's Anadolu Efes. Unlike Delfino, Ilyasova is in no rush to return to the Bucks, and has expressed his intentions to stay with Efes throughout their entire season. His contract with Anadolu Efes does include an out clause that would send him to Milwaukee should the lockout end. Efes is probably hoping that the American negotiations aren't resolved anytime soon. In their league opener against Partizan Belgrade, Ilyasova had three assists, four rebounds and scored ten points. He helped Efes grab their first victory of the season.
